Upon his early death on November 10, 1962, Mrs. Russin, a native of Fallentimber, assumed operation of the business. She was a graduate of Conemaugh Valley Hospital School of Nursing in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and had attended Penn State University and was a 1974 graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. She remained active at the funeral home until her death on September 30, 1997.
Their son, Jon C. Russin, assumed ownership of the family owned business as a second generation funeral director in 1973. Together with his wife, Joanne the business continued to grow and in 1989 they purchased the Gerald D. Johnson Funeral Home, formerly the Fuoss Mortuary that was established in 1914, on Main Street in Bellwood and are proud to have continued the dedicated service in which they provided.
In 2011 their daughter, Beth A. Russin joined the family business as the third generation, and is presently a licensed funeral director at the funeral home.
